Lenovo may not believe in Windows 7 tablets, but Onkyo certainly do, and you can now buy the hitherto Japan-only slates in the US courtesy of importer Dynamism. Three models are on offer - the Onkyo TW117A4, the Onkyo TW217A5, and the Onkyo TW317A5 - but you'll need deep pockets given the range kicks off at $779 and finishes up at $1,129.

If you've been waiting to get your hands onto the Viliv N5 then the moment to flex that plastic is almost upon you; importer Dynamism open their virtual shop doors at 1pm EST today for their N5 preorder event, with prices kicking off at $649. That gets you a 4.8-inch touchscreen, Intel Atom Z520 1.3GHz processor, 1GB of RAM and a 32GB SSD.
Importer Dynamism has announced pricing and availability for the Viliv N5 MID, which will begin shipping in the US from July 19th 2010. The compact clamshell - which has a 4.8-inch 1024 x 600 touchscreen, Intel Atom 1.3GHz Z520 processor and 32GB SSD - will be available in two configurations, differentiated by integrated 3G.
Bad news if you've set your heart on a Viliv S10 Blade, with word coming from importer Dynamism that the convertible touchscreen netbook has been delayed from its original April 22nd ship date. The retailer is now showing various estimates, ranging from April 27th for the Atom Z530 models with the 64GB SSD, through to May 10th for the Atom Z550 variants.

While we got our first glimpse of Viliv S10 Blade pricing yesterday, when import specialist Dynamism confirmed the convertible touchscreen netbook would kick off from $699, we've still been waiting for full pricing across all seven models. A little Google Shopping magic later, however, and one UMPC Portal commenter has dug up all the pricing; as we feared, the S10 Blade isn't going to be an especially affordable system. Viliv's S10 Blade, the company's 10.1-inch convertible touchscreen netbook, has finally gone up for preorder. The good folk at import specialists Dynamism are listing seven SKUs of the netbook; the basic S10 Blade comes with Windows XP, a 60GB HDD and 1.6GHz Atom Z530 processor (and thus lacks OS multitouch support), but after that it's Windows 7 all round and a choice of 32GB or 64GB SSDs.
If there’s one thing capitalism has taught us, it’s that competition is usually good for prices. Newegg have just joined Dynamism in offering the Viliv X70 UMPC, the 7-inch Korean touchscreen tablet, which you’d expect to mean prices were pushed down. Unfortunately Newegg don’t seem to have got that memo; their prices are actually a little more expensive than the existing offers.
Importers Dynamism have released pricing and specification details for the Viliv S7, the latest ultraportable touchscreen device from the Korean company. Coming after the surprisingly popular S5 and well-received X70, the S7 adds a QWERTY keyboard and uses a more traditional netbook-style form-factor; according to Dynamism, when it drops in the US it'll be priced from $629.
Importer Dynamism have announced that they will be selling the matte black version of UMID’s mbook M1 MID, with preorders kicking off today and deliveries expected to begin from August 25th. The compact clamshell has a 4.8-inch 1,024 x 600 touchscreen, together with the same Intel Atom Z520 1.33GHz processor as in Viliv’s popular S5 and X70 MIDs, and will retail from $599.
Preorders for Viliv MIDs and UMPCs just don’t seem to be blessed with the best of luck. After the Viliv S5 launch brought down importer Dynamism’s servers and left many struggling to complete their orders, the launch of the Viliv X70 has been struck by components shortages at the factory. In an email to those who preordered the 7-inch touchscreen device, Dynamism suggests that “MIDs have been especially popular this year” which surprised components suppliers.
Viliv's X70 UMPC goes on sale today through importer Dynamism, and as we've already reported there's a clutch of goodies for the first 777 buyers. Priced from $599, the X70 has a choice of 1.2GHz or 1.3GHz Intel Atom processors and SSD storage from 16GB; we've already seen one very positive review; now jkkmobile has put up his own video review of the X70 Premium 3G, the HSPA-equipped version of the 7-inch touchscreen device.
