2017 Cadillac XT5 Review – This is no mini Escalade

2017 Cadillac XT5 Review – This is no mini Escalade

As a Brit who harbors a dark, some might say unnatural love for Cadillac's Escalade, I'm used to wearing my perversions on my sleeve, but I may be immune to the charms of the 2017 Cadillac XT5. Though sharp styling and clever all-wheel drive are welcome, as is an impressively high quality cabin that in most respects punches above its weight, there's the all-important question of that magic spark that true love requires.

2016 BMW X1 xDrive28i Review

2016 BMW X1 xDrive28i Review

Decry me as a wagon-loving European rabble-rouser if you must, but BMW's decision to give the X1 a crossover-style makeover felt like a misstep. Most obvious is the boost that's been given to the Cross Country's ride height, which offers you 7.9 inches of clearance should you elect to take the all-wheel drive Volvo off the beaten path. You'll also notice the car's flared fenders and skid plate up front that's designed to protect the engine, all of which together serve to ruggedize the European four-door's visual presence.

2017 Hyundai Santa Fe Adds Safety, Style at Chicago Auto Show

The 2017 Hyundai Santa Fe has been unveiled at the Chicago Auto Show, and while it's been four years since the current generation of this crossover was last redesigned the refreshed version of the people mover doesn't make any dramatic changes to its affordable character. Instead, the focus has been on boosting the list of features available with the mid-size (Santa Fe) and compact (Santa Fe Sport) crossovers, as well as massaging the sheet metal just enough to keep customers interested.
