Adidas Futurecraft Leather makes shoe of single piece of material

While the shoe does still need support of a sole - and strings, of course - this Adidas shoe needs but one piece of leather. The upper bits of this Originals Superstar are cut from a single piece of material, making use of the company's newest innovations in what's called the Adidas Futurecraft series. Where and How: the 2015 NIKE MAG Back to the Future sneaker with power laces

This afternoon NIKE shared details about how to get a pair of the 2015 NIKE MAG, the Back to the Future sneakers, complete with power laces. They suggest that while the first pair of sneakers is already out there in the wild, straight up in the possession of mister Marty McFly himself, Michael J. Fox, the rest will be for sale soon. The good news is that this shoe's proceeds will go to charity. The bad news is that unless you're a very rich sort of sneaker collector, you're likely out of luck already.

Intel’s Curie tech powers cooling vents in sports bra

Sports bras are designed to keep things comfortable during activities while still, you know, offering support where support is needed. The compromise between the two means things can get a little uncomfortable at times, particularly when it comes to the ventilation issue. Women of the future may not experience such troubles, though, as Chromat has shown off the prototype of a sports bra that uses Intel technology to open vents when things get warm.

Chewbacca Crocs unveiled ahead of new Star Wars movie

Items modeled after Star Wars characters are nothing new, and we've seen the number of gadgets grow as the next movie's premiere grows nearer (not that there was ever a shortage of such items). The newest one to surface is a bit of a misstep, though, at least if your fashion sense has reached the adult level: Chewbacca-themed Crocs. Yes, Crocs still exist, and these ones are toeing the line crossed by fuzzy Ugg boots, only with a side order of spongy and hole-filled foam.

Mars One project inspires clothing line, is still ill-fated

Mars One inspired a lot of people when it first entered the public eye. Thousands of applicants volunteered for a one-way trip to Mars. Almost immediately, though, critics began pointing out big problems with the proposed plan, and soon after the applicants themselves began raising issues. The dream is still alive despite this, and the company is still pushing on, still insisting that its plan is possible. Spawning from the project is an upcoming line of clothing that will be revealed at the upcoming Spring/Summer 2016 fashion show.
