Android devices may be storming the market in terms of sheer numbers but, with a few unusual exceptions, most manufacturers have stuck to basic touchscreen candybars or horizontal QWERTY sliders. Motorola's latest handset, the Verizon DROID PRO, seemingly looks to Canada for its inspiration: its distinctly BlackBerry styling mark it out as a more serious messaging device. If you are keen on an Android tablet rather than the iPad, you may have been following the ViewSonic ViewPad 10 with interest. The tablet landed a while back and in October, we spent a bit of hands on time with the thing and liked it well enough even if Android 1.6 was not what we really wanted to see on the tablet.
