Lenovo Yoga Book Review: The road warrior’s future

Lenovo Yoga Book Review: The road warrior’s future

I’ve been using Lenovo’s new Yoga Book the last couple of days, and it’s hard not to love this ultra-compact, sleek, and versatile tablet with a twist. This isn’t what you’d call a one trick pony, but instead a multi-talented 2-in-1 to help you stay more productive on the go. Trust me, clocking in over 250,000 air miles this year alone, I know a thing or two about staying productive on the move.

Lenovo IdeaPad Y900 Review: surprising power in a big package

Lenovo IdeaPad Y900 Review: surprising power in a big package

I've always found it difficult to wrap my head around gaming laptops, and when I first opened the Lenovo IdeaPad Y900 notebook, I didn't think my feelings were going to change. I found myself almost immediately wondering why I would use such a bulky laptop when I have my own gaming desktop at home. Still, there's more to a computer than its size, and once I really dug in and got to playing around with it, there were a few things that caught me by surprise. The question then was whether the IdeaPad Y900 was enough to change my opinion on gaming laptops, or if I'd end the review process with the same opinions I had at the start.

Tango-dancing Lenovo PHAB2 Pro will finally launch soon

At its Tech World conference last June, Lenovo unveiled a new generation of PHAB2 smartphones, including a 6.4-inch PHAB2 Pro.While you might laugh at its near-tablet girth, it has one thing that no commercial smartphone of any size can boast off: sensors that makes Google’s Tango project possible. Delayed from its initial September launch, the Lenovo PHAB2 Pro is reportedly really ready to dance, and could start shipping next month, just in time to make the perfect gift for techies and geeks who want to dive into the world of augmented reality.

Lenovo TAB3 8 Plus details leak out

Lenovo TAB3 8 Plus details leak out

These years major mobile device events might already be over, but manufacturers are always churning out products all year round. And while Lenovo already has a rather curious, even enticing, Android tablet revealed at IFA last month, it hasn’t forgotten consumers that may want something less eccentric, not to mention less expensive. Following up on MWC 2016’s TAB3 8 slate, a certain TAB3 8 Plus has just been sighted, with specs that border the middle and high ends of the tablet market, probably scheduled to roll out before 2016 ends.

Microsoft, Lenovo accused of blocking Linux on “Signature Edition” PCs

Microsoft, Lenovo accused of blocking Linux on “Signature Edition” PCs

Laptops these days are getting more powerful, thinner, and, like the Lenovo Yoga Book, more interesting. While most of these were made with running Windows in mind, some consumers prefer to have the final say on what OS to use, which usually means Linux (or Chrome OS sometimes). But much to their dismay, some buyers of the Lenovo Yoga 900, 910S, and 710S have found out that they can’t do so, supposedly because of an agreement between Microsoft and OEMs like Lenovo to prevent other operating systems like Linux to be installed on Signature Edition PCs like those models. However, reality isn’t as simple as that may sound.

Lenovo Yoga Book goes on pre-order in the US

Lenovo Yoga Book goes on pre-order in the US

While we've seen no small amount of new devices back at IFA 2016 earlier this month, few managed to really make head turns and capture attendees' imaginations than the Lenovo Yoga Book. Part tablet, part laptop, part notepad, part stylish Frankenstein, the Yoga Book targets as many markets and use cases as Lenovo can. Interesting as it may be, the real test will be in sales numbers, and now that theory will be put to the test as the device starts its pre-order period, with a shipping date set for October.

Between the world of YOGA tablets and ThinkPad business laptops lie an array of beautiful 'everyday' Lenovo laptops that could meet the casual needs of just about anyone: students, travelers, web surfers, casual gamers, small business owners, whomever. The Lenovo YOGA 710 is one such laptop; it boasts a slim and lightweight body that has a beautiful -- if not modest -- design. Lenovo Yoga 910 hands-on: Same skinny 360 style; bigger, better display

Lenovo Yoga 910 hands-on: Same skinny 360 style; bigger, better display

Fitting more laptop into less chassis is an admirable goal, and Lenovo has done just that with the new Yoga 910, increasing screen size without sacrificing portability. An upgrade to the well-received Yoga 900, the new notebook packs a 13.9-inch display into a form-factor that - despite being slimmer in all dimensions - its predecessor could only fit a 13.3-inch screen into.

Lenovo Yoga Tab 3 Plus first impressions : Right in-between

Lenovo Yoga Tab 3 Plus first impressions : Right in-between

Lenovo suggests the Yoga Tab 3 Plus could be "your personal TV." If you're the sort of person who relies solely on apps for entertainment, they might be right. This device is one of Lenovo's unique tablets-with-kickstands, working with a 2K display, Android inside, and a chassis that aims for a high-end experience. If the Tab 3 Pro seemed too expensive for some users' taste at the same time as the Tab 3 seemed to need a few more features, this is the place they'll land.
