T-Mobile Galaxy Tab 4 8.0 attracts consumers with "free" data

The latest in Galaxy Tab technology comes from Samsung to T-Mobile this summer in the Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 8.0. This device was first introduced in April of this year and hit Verizon this June. This version of the Tab will include T-Mobile apps and connectivity with T-Mobile's 4G LTE.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 8.0 has an 8-inch display with 1280 x 800 pixels across its face. A quad-core processor inside powers the device with 1.5GB of RAM. You'll find 16GB of internal storage space, while a microSD card slot allows 64GB more. A relatively large 4450mAh battery sits inside for days and days of battery life.

This device will roll out with the same 3-megapixel camera at its back as the original and will bring a 1.3-megapixel camera to its front for all manner of selfies and video chat. Android 4.4 KitKat will be launching with this machine, and we'll just go ahead and assume Android L will follow – eventually.

While this device is coming in at $379.99 off-contract and for $279.99 with a 2-year contract with Verizon, T-Mobile is a different situation entirely.

T-Mobile will be offering the Samsung Galaxy Note 4 8.0 for $0 down and 24-months of $16 USD, for a grand total of $384 USD. This device will be rolling with T-Mobile's "Tablet Freedom" program which suggests the following: "[this tablet] can be added to your existing Simple Choice Plan at no additional cost with nearly 1.2 GB of free LTE data every month through the end of 2014 and 200MB of free data per month beyond that for the life of your tablet."

This device will be available for order starting on July 16th online and in-stores across the USA starting on July 23rd.
