T-Mobile details Black Friday deals: free phones, Gogo WiFi, and more

Black Friday is nearly upon us, and T-Mobile has detailed what deals it has planned. First things first, the Uncarrier is offering everyone an hour of in-flight Gogo Internet...the free WiFi access is available to those who subscribe to other carriers, too. That free in-flight WiFi starts today and lasts until this upcoming Saturday. As well, the carrier is offering free phones, prepaid MasterCards with 'spending money,' and free accessories as part of its various deals.

The free phone deal is for the Samsung Galaxy S7 32GB and the LG V20 64GB, and involves giving subscribers a device payment bill credit over the course of 24 months. This is only available to those who trade in a qualifying phone; everyone else will have to 'pay a little more up front.' Buyers also have to pay sales tax, and must use the phone with Simple Choice Unlimited or T-Mobile ONE.

Meanwhile, there's another Black Friday deal specifically for those who switch to T-Mobile from a different carrier: a prepaid MasterCard with $200 per each line that was switched to the Uncarrier (up to a max of $2,400). Those who bring their own phone, though, can use it and will instead get the $200 in the form of bill credits over the course of 20 months.

Finally, T-Mobile says customers who get a Galaxy S7 or S7 edge (including the free ones) will receive a $50 gift card for the Oculus app store and a free Gear VR headset. The UE BOOM 2 speaker will be offered at $70 off, the LG Tone Pro 760 headset will be offered at $30 off, the mophie Powerstation Mini will be 80-percent off, and there will also be the option of a free Samsung Tab E or LG Gpad X via 24 monthly bill credits with a T-Mobile ONE tablet plan.
