T-Mobile announces the HTC Radar 4G

T-Mobile officially announced the upcoming availability of the HTC Radar 4G as its very first Windows Phone 7.5 Mango handset to support its HSPA+ network. This announcement coincides with Microsoft's roll-out of the major Mango update for Windows Phone 7, which just went live this morning.

The HTC Radar 4G features a white and silver unibody chassis that sports a 3.8-inch WVGA display, 1GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon processor, 8GB of internal storage, a VGA resolution front-facing camera good for video calling, and a 5-megapixel rear-facing camera with a 28mm f/2.2 aperture wide-angle lens, and a single LED flash. It also boasts a dedicated camera button so that you can quickly access the camera even when the phone is locked.

The nice hardware plus the vastly improved Windows Phone 7.5 Mango update should make this a nice new option for T-Mobile customers. The handset is set to arrive in time for the holidays, but an exact date and price have not been announced yet.
