One of these sources comes from an over-the-air antenna, which plugs into your TV’s coax input. After connecting to an antenna, the channels can be accessed from your Fire TV.
To tune over-the-air channels on any TV running Fire OS, first use a coaxial cable to connect the antenna to the coax input on your TV. Afterward, go into the Settings menu.
Select Live TV, choose Channel Scan, and follow the instructions onscreen. The channels should be available in your guide or the Live TV tab on the home screen.
There are also different apps that Fire TV supports for the Live TV tab, such as YouTube TV, Pluto TV, ESPN, and streaming service apps that include limited live channels.
You can install these apps by searching for them either using the Find icon or a voice search. Once you do, select the app and press the download option.
Next, you’ll need to integrate the channels with the Live TV by entering the tab and pressing the menu button on your remote. Select Add Channel and toggle what channels you want.
