The iPhone Screenshot Hack You Definitely Need To Know
By SHIKHAR MEHROTRA
The Full Page iPhone screenshot feature has been around for a while, but not many iPhone users know about it. Full Page screenshots are similar to regular screenshots, except they capture additional information not visible in the frame into one screenshot, making them much handier, especially when you want to share an entire review, article, or web page.
To take screenshots, users with iPhone 5s or older click the top power button and home button together. If you own an iPhone 6, iPhone 7, or iPhone 8 series, press the power button on the right and the home button together. Users with an iPhone X to the iPhone 13 should press the volume up button on the phone's left side and the power button on the right side.
After taking a screenshot, tap on the thumbnail, then tap “Full Page” at the top, and the regular screenshot transforms into a full page; you can scroll through the screenshot to view all the content and because the iPhone saves it as a PDF, there is no loss of quality. You can also edit it using the same tools Apple provides for regular screenshots.
Once you’ve taken the screenshot, you can save it as a PDF or print it. To save your screenshot as a PDF, tap the “Done” button at the top-left corner, choose “Save PDF to Files,” select the location on your iPhone where you want to save the screenshot, and tap on “Save.” You can also get a screenshot printout if you have a wireless printer connected to your iPhone.
To view the Full Page screenshot, open “Files” on your iPhone, choose the folder where you saved the screenshot and tap on it. The Full Page screenshot should open in PDF form, and you can pinch to zoom in and see the screenshot's contents. Full Page screenshot is a feature with the potential to change the way you click screenshots and share information.
