BMW 507
During the rock star’s well-publicized stint in the U.S. Army, Elvis Presley bought a BMW 507 roadster to use while stationed in Germany.
The 507 was extremely expensive in its day and did not sell in high numbers. Today, it is one of the most highly coveted of all BMW cars and is a valuable collector car.
KR200
The Messerschmitt KR200 is a three-wheeled "bubble" microcar from post-war Germany powered by a motorcycle engine with a canopy like a fighter airplane.
After owning the car for a couple of years, Elvis exchanged the car with Bernard Lansky, who had provided him with much of his stage wardrobe, for new clothes.
Mercedes-Benz 600
Like others of vast wealth and power, Elvis owned a Mercedes-Benz 600. The car is a mechanical masterpiece of 1960s engineering.
The car included a high-pressure hydraulic system that operates the suspension, brake, power windows, and a 300-horsepower V8 engine.
Stutz Blackhawk
With its interior featuring fine leather, real wood, and gold plating, the luxurious Stutz Blackhawk was an exercise in opulent excess.
The Stutz was the perfect car for Elvis in the 1970s as he had amassed a fortune. The first Stutz to be built went to the rock star, and it was one of three he eventually owned.
Dino 308 GT4
While Elvis loved his luxury cars, he also enjoyed driving fast. His collection had a few sports cars, including the Ferrari Dino 308 GT4.
Not much information is available about Elvis’s Ferrari, but a rumor on Elvis forums says that he not only drove it from LA to Memphis but also over its limit of 150 mph.
