The 10 Apps Every Android User Should Think About Uninstalling
By JACK GOODWILLIE
Bloatware apps
While bloatware is often associated with PCs, it also applies to Android devices. These apps come pre-loaded on the phone but have limited usefulness.
Rather than optimizing a device, most bloatware apps simply collect dust on internal storage and are great candidates for deletion.
Antivirus apps
Smartphones are susceptible to viruses, but that does not mean antivirus apps are essential, especially since most Android devices use the Google Play Protect feature.
In addition, not all these apps are reliable and may work differently depending on how optimized the app is for the current version of your smartphone.
Flashlight
Previously, Android users needed to download a third-party app to use the flashlight. However, this is no longer the case, making a flashlight app redundant.
The app may take up little space, but users with the integrated feature will want to delete any flashlight apps that are transferred to their new phone.
Default browser
Smartphones allow users to download their go-to web browser on their devices, making the default one that comes with their gadget great candidates for deletion.
There are many advantages to using third-party browsers over the default, such as seamless synchronization of passwords and frequent updates to improve performance.
Clean-up apps
Clean-up apps are designed to help their users by removing junk files and optimizing device performance, but they are no longer essential for most Android users.
Most Android devices come loaded with several features that replace what clean-up apps aim to accomplish without the risk of downloading a third-party app.
