Tech Gadgets That Are A Straight-Up Waste Of Cash

Coffee Machines
Automatic coffee machines have been around for a long time, but they have downsides. If you're particular about your coffee, these machines may not be worth it.
These machines aren't airtight, which affects the coffee's quality. You also still put the same amount of effort into each, needing to grind the beans and load the machine.
Soap Dispensers
A hands-free soap dispenser removes the need to touch an extra surface in your bathroom. Unfortunately, it's a pointless device to have.
Since you're already going to be washing your hands after applying soap, it doesn't matter whether or not you have to actually touch the dispenser.
Smart Fridges
While there are many useful smart devices, smart fridges are a bad investment as they cost a lot of money and have features you don't need.
A smart fridge can also lead to major security issues if your home's cyber defenses are compromised. The large appliance also doesn't last as long as other fridges.
Mutalk
One of the many VR accessories to come out of the years is the Mutalk, a device you strap to your mouth that acts like a microphone and sound muffler.
Unfortunately, this device turns the already unappealing visage of a person wearing a VR headset and makes it worse by putting what is essentially a gag in your mouth.
Astro
Amazon's Alexa is an incredibly popular voice assistant, but not all the company's devices have been well received, such as the robot Amazon Astro.
The Astro is equipped with microphones and cameras, and it has the freedom to wander around a large area of your home. This freedom makes it a serious cyber security issue.
