While some controversial environmental issues surround private jets, they’re some of the most impressive and stylish vehicles around, especially the Phenom 300E.
The Phenom 300E was first created in March 2018 and is a very exclusive model, with only 19 in the skies by the following January, according to Flying magazine.
The 300E isn’t a great technical leap above its predecessor, having the same Pratt & Whitney PW535E1 engines and an over 17 foot cabin, but it does improve on different aspects.
It includes a High Definition Cabin Management System/In-flight Entertainment system that Lufthansa Technik has dubbed Nice — Network Integrated Cabin Equipment.
Nice seemingly turns it into a smart aircraft. Christiane Grude of Lufthansa Technik states that the feature “manages any cabin interaction. You can steer the lighting or audio.”
In addition to the luxury features, the 300E comes equipped with advanced systems to boost safety and practicality, like the Runway Overrun Awareness And Alerting System, or ROAAS.
However, the 300E is expensive, with a new one costing approximately $12 million. It’s estimated to have an additional annual cost of $802,352 for around 200 flight hours.
