How Vinegar And Baking Soda Can Make Your Headlights Shine
By DANIEL TROCK
Headlights are a vital part of your car and should always be free of obstructions. Luckily, there’s an easy way to clean them with baking soda and vinegar.
While the details of the baking soda aren’t important, you need to use distilled white vinegar. You will also need a bucket of clean water, car or dish soap, and microfiber cloths.
Use a microfiber cloth to wipe off any dust or dirt on your headlights. Clean the cloth, soak it in a mixture of soap and clean water, and use it to wash the headlights.
Let them sit for a couple of minutes to dry, then combine two tablespoons of vinegar with one tablespoon of baking soda in a clean bowl and stir to make a thick paste.
Dip a fresh microfiber cloth into the paste and rub it into both headlights, taking a couple of minutes for each light. Let the paste sit for a few minutes to dry.
Once it’s dry, spray it with clean water to rinse it off and let the headlights air dry. Continue using the paste, allowing it to dry, and rinsing it off until your headlights are clean.
