How To Delete Multiple Contacts On iPhone At Once
By KAYLA DUBE
You can bulk delete your iPhone contacts through iCloud, and the changes made to Contacts in iCloud will be synced with the Contacts app on your iPhone. To do this, open “Settings” on your iPhone, tap your name, tap “iCloud,” turn the "Contacts" slider under "Apps Using iCloud" on, and tap "Merge" when the "Existing Local Contacts" pop up appears.
Next, open iCloud.com using the browser on your macOS/Windows/mobile, enter your login credentials, tap “Allow” on the pop-up that appears, enter the given code in the two-factor authentication field in iCloud on your browser, and click "Submit." When asked, click "Trust" if you want to log in to iCloud from that device in the future without entering a code.
After you’re signed in, click “Contacts,” hold down the "Ctrl" key on your keyboard, and click on each contact you want to delete if you’re on Windows — or repeat the same process while holding the "Command" key if you’re on Mac. Next, click on the gear icon in the bottom left corner of the Contacts screen, click “Delete,” and confirm by clicking “Delete” again.
