Every Major Washing Machine Brand Ranked Best To Worst

10. Samsung
While Samsung washing machines aren’t bad or unreliable, the company’s products have a reputation for having a lot of complex parts and being expensive to repair.
Their washing machine might also need more frequent repairs compared to other brands. In terms of performance, Samsung is above average but could be better compared to others.
Amana doesn’t have the largest selection of appliances and tends to focus on value over flashy features. However, their products are typically more reliable than others.
There are more reliable brands out there, but Bosch is a good option for smaller spaces, and the company has repair techs across the United States in case of a problem.
Whirlpool has more than 20 different washers in its collection. However, this makes it hard to estimate how reliable any one of their appliances actually is.
Whirlpool also generally scores high on lists, including consumer satisfaction surveys, and has the same level of complex electronics and parts as other big brands.
Like Bosch, Miele sells more expensive, upscale appliances and has comparably low failure rates, though it’s placed slightly higher on Consumer Reports.
The company only sells four front-loading washing machines, with its more expensive model having more features. Unlike other brands, Miele offers a two-year service warranty.
