Bauer Power Tools: Who Makes Them And Are They Any Good
By GARRETT ETTINGER
Bauer, known for its line of wireless power tools, is one of the most recognizable brands. However, just because the company is well-known doesn’t mean they make good products.
Harbor Freight owns the Bauer brand, and though the parent company is based out of the United States, the tools are manufactured in locations across the globe.
Bauer tools are on par with other mid-range tool brands like Ryobi and Hart, making their products a great option for home improvement projects if you’re on a budget.
While the quality depends largely on the type of tool you’re using, their lines of cordless and corded power tools generally have overall high ratings.
Although some of its tools can fall a little short of its mid-tier rivals in terms of power, Bauer particularly shines in affordability.
Bauer may not boast the same quality as top-of-the-line tools like Milwaukee and DeWalt, but they’re a serviceable mid-range option made of solid parts with modern designs.
