SteelSeries Sensei gaming mouse is now shipping

SteelSeries has announced that its latest gaming peripheral is now shipping to buyers. The peripheral is the Sensei Pro Grade Laser Mouse and it is aimed directly at the avid PC gamer looking for all sorts of features and tweaks specifically to make gaming more fun and the player more accurate. This mouse has an inside sensitivity setting at the high-end thanks to a 32-bit ARM processor inside.

The sensitivity can be cranked all the way up to 11,400 DCPI. The default sensitivity is 5,700 CPI and the double CPI range will take things up to 11,400. I have no idea if a CPI is the same as a DPI as most mice are rated in. That ARM processor inside the mouse is as powerful as the original Pentium processor from 1994. The mouse is for Windows gamers only.

The mouse also has advanced macros to support long macros. SteelSeries again stops short of saying exactly how long the macro can be. The mouse also has a little LCD on the bottom that you can put your own unique image on. The idea is that it looks cool and might prevent theft if your name is on the bottom of the mouse. The mouse also supports 16.8 million different color combinations and has eight buttons total.
