Star Wars The Mandalorian trailer release tonight: Here's what's up [UPDATE]

There's a big trailer release tonight and, if the last Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker trailer was any indication, we're in for a whopper. If we take a peek at the lead-up to this trailer, we see teasers for trailers, articles about leaks, and a tip that the first episode will contain at least one doozy of a "dramatic Star Wars-universe spoiler." Whatever that means.

Disney suggested earlier today that they'd be sending out advanced screeners of a number of shows that'd be coming to the Disney+ streaming service this November. The one and ONLY show that will not see a first episode screener but WILL be making its debut on November 12 will be – you guessed it – The Mandalorian. Don't want any spoilers here!

Above you'll see some action from the official Star Wars Twitter account. Therein lies a look at the trailer that'll be shown in full tonight. This teaser will be released to the Star Wars YouTube channel tonight – or you can just sit here and watch the main feed on SlashGear until we post it (here!), be that just before or just after the official Star Wars feed posts theirs – we'll see!

Above you'll see the first trailer for the show – this was the trailer that was released earlier this year. This trailer shows some fantastic stuff, and if we assume this trailer tracks with what the show should contain with respect to Lucasfilm trailer/film greatness ratios, we're in for a treat. UPDATE: Here it is!

The Mandalorian will premiere on the Disney+ streaming service on November 12, 2019, with the rest of the streaming service. This television show is the first live action Star Wars piece of media and it'll star Pedro Pascal, Gina Carano, Nick Nolte, Carl Weathers, Giancarlo Esposito, and others!
