Sprint BlackBerry Curve 8530 arrives for $50

Sprint's latest BlackBerry, the Curve 8530, has finally gone on sale.  Announced as heading to the network back in November, we now know the Sprint Curve 8530 is priced at $49.99 after the usual mail-in rebate; that gets you a full QWERTY keyboard, optical trackpad and a 2-megapixel camera.

There's also EVDO Rev.A, WiFi b/g and Bluetooth 2.1, along with GPS and external multimedia controls.  A microSD slot allows for up to 32GB cards and there's a regular 3.5mm headphones jack and a 1,150mAh battery good for up to 5.4hrs of talktime.

That $50 price undercuts Verizon's version of the handset by 50-percent, so if you're looking for a bargain BlackBerry Sprint may be the way to go.  Of course, you'll have a two-year agreement, voice and data package and all the rest on top of that.
