Spider-Man: Unlimited mobile 3D game arrives in September

Consoles are nice, but sometimes you want to kick back with your phone or tablet and toil away at a game other than Candy Crush or its million spinoffs. Such is where Marvel and Gameloft's upcoming 3D mobile game could come in — Spider-Man: Unlimited. It is set to hit digital shelves in September.

The game — which is previewed in part alongside quite a few comic snippets in the video above — is said to be the first web-runner drawing its inspiration from decades of Spider-Man lore.

With Spider-Man: Unlimited, gamers will get access to Spiderman variations like Iron Spiderman, Spiderman Noir, Future Foundation Spiderman, and Ben Reilly Spiderman, teaming up to against The Formidable Sinister Six as they bring destruction in New York.

Throughout the course of the game, says Gameloft, players will be able to collect and upgrade nearly two dozen different Spiderman, making it the most variations found in any Spiderman game. The game will arrive on iOS, Android, and Windows Phone, and will be shown off at E3.
