Sony Xperia Z1 Compact arrives in US

Sony's Xperia Z1 Compact has finally arrived in the United States, bringing with it a $549.99 USD price tag and a trio of color options. In addition to our hands-on from earlier this year, we've got all the details after the jump.

If you want to grab the 4.3-inch TRILUMINOS display-toting Z1 Compact in the US, your only option is through Sony's website. As such, the handset is sold unlocked (hence the price), and, as mentioned, in three different colors: white, pink, and black.

The Z1 Compact runs a Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 quad-core 2.2GHz processor with 2GB of RAM, as well as offering a hefty 20.7-megapixel rear camera with a G lens and Exmor RS, making it a solid option for those who prefer photography-centric handsets.

Other notable features include NFC, aGPS, Bluetooth, LTE support, waterproof and dust resistant design, and a 2300mAh battery. Check out the video above to see our hands-on with the device.
