Sony VAIO M entry-level N450 netbook announced

Sony have unveiled their latest netbook, the Sony VAIO M Series, and they're positioning it right at the entry-point of the market.  The 10.1-inch 1024 x 600 ultraportable packs Intel's Atom N450 1.66GHz processor, along with a 250GB hard-drive, and will be available in black or white.

Other specifications include 1GB of memory and Intel GMA 3150 graphics.  Connectivity, meanwhile, includes WiFi b/g/n, Bluetooth 2.1+EDR, ethernet, VGA output, a memory card reader and three USB 2.0 ports, along with audio in/out.

There's also a webcam, stereo speakers and a microphone, while the battery is a 6-cell unit; Sony aren't making any predictions as to runtimes, but the whole thing does weigh 1.4kg.  No official pricing in the press release, but expect the Sony VAIO M Series to go on sale later this month.
