Sony VAIO E notebooks debut in bright colors

Sony hasn't historically been a company that offers computers that are stylish. Its machines are normally stodgy designs without much in the way of style. Sony has of late started to offer some wild colors on its machines that are very bright.

Sony has unveiled a new line of notebooks called the VAIO E series of notebooks that include screen sizes of 14-inches and 17-inches. The 14-inch line is available with up to 1TB of storage and is made for on the go computing. The 17-inch size machines are aimed at media enthusiasts. Both screen sizes in the range offer the new 2010 line of Intel Core processors.

The notebooks can be fitted with up to 4GB of RAM and ATI Mobility Radeon 5000 discrete graphics cards. Sony equips the machines with an eSATA/USB port. Sony uses an Intel Core i3-330M on the 14-inch VPCEA1S1E notebook along with a 500GB HDD and 4GB of RAM and graphics from an ATI HD 5145 GPU. The 17-inch VPCEC1S1E has a Core i5-430M, 4GB of RAM, 500GB HDD, and ATI HD5650 graphics and a Blu-ray player. The machines will ship at the end of March.
