SlashGear Morning Wrap-up 2/14/14: Titanfall Beta codes, Halo 5, Netflix binge

It's Titanfall Beta day – and also Valentine's Day – but mostly Titanfall Beta day, and you're going to find one whole heck of a lot of people today looking for codes. While there is still a normal sign-up for Titanfall's Beta release out there, there's also a bunch of users in the wild with codes to give out – grab one! While one thing doesn't necessarily have to do with the other, Xbox One and Xbox 360 topped game sales in January.

If you're waiting for your Titanfall Beta code now but want to see some hands-on action, have a peek at our Titanfall Beta gameplay First-impressions. For now we're rolling with the Xbox One version of the game – PC action on the way!

While the Xbox (in Xbox One and Xbox 360 iterations) grabbed the top game-selling console name for January, Sony took the other big prize. The PlayStation 4 sold the most consoles for the month of January, 2014. Not surprising since we've not seen one in a store for weeks.

Xbox will likely be kicking out the jams again later this year when Halo 2 Anniversary Edition is released. Word from a Halo voice actor also has it that Halo 5 will be released in 2015 – probably a year after Halo 2 Anniversary Edition.

Netflix is doing well. Today you're going to find House of Cards season two released in its entirety to Netflix, just in time for your Valentines binging to begin. Once you're done you'll find distributed neural network-made reccomendations awaiting your approval.
