Shogun Bros. announced an update to its Chameleon X-1 gaming mouse that doubles as a full 16-button game controller as well as a wireless presenter. This new version adds a rubberized coating for improved grip and durability, a revised button layout for improved remote control operation, and a longer battery life.

Besides these improvements, the Chameleon X-1 looks relatively the same as when we first saw it back in December of last year. It still has the 16 buttons, two analog sticks, and force feedback support. It also maintains a five-stage adjustable 1600dpi optical sensor

The Chameleon X-1 includes a nano transceiver that can be stored in a compartment inside the mouse and it requires one AAA battery to power. It will ship starting October 1, but can be pre-ordered now on Amazon for $59.99. It comes in three colors of red, gray, and purple.
