The TouchWiz update for the Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 has gone live, being pushed out OTA to the 10-inch slate this morning just as the company promised. Previewed in an NYC event earlier this week, the new software adds the custom TouchWiz UI Samsung has developed for tablets (and which you can see in video form after the cut) along with various enterprise-centric features, some new apps and the addition of Swype.

Those new apps include Amazon Cloud Music Player, Kindle and game Words with Friends. Samsung has also added in a "Mini Mode Tray" offering shortcuts for the Task Manager, Calendar, World Clock, Pen Memo, Calculator and Music apps. The clipboard has been updated to support storage of multiple snippets, and there's an update to the Media Hub.

The most obvious difference will be the TouchWiz panel UI, of course, offering news, weather, social networking and multimedia content all corralled neatly together. It's worth noting, however, that once you've upgraded to the latest firmware, there's apparently no going back. More information on the updates here, and let us know in the comments what you think of the new changes!
