Samsung's Galaxy Tab 8.9 isn't expected to hit the market until sometime this summer, but we're gradually piecing together the pricing for the 8.9-inch slate. Amazon Germany has thrown the tablet up for pre-order at €606.50 ($853), a considerable premium above the $469 we know Samsung will be charging in the US.

Full specifications are not given at present, beyond this being the 16GB version in black. However, we already know that the Galaxy Tab 8.9 runs NVIDIA's dual-core 1GHz Tegra 2 processor, has a 1280 x 800 display, 3-megapixel camera and Android 3.0 Honeycomb, along with WiFi and Bluetooth.

That could mean this is the 3G version, though that seems unlikely at this stage seeing as Samsung is yet to confirm availability of the WWAN-blessed Tab. More on the Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9 in our hands-on from CTIA 2011.
