Samsung unveils new 933HD+ and 2333HD monitors

When it comes to PC monitors convergence is a good thing. A converged monitor allows you to use the screen as you would any other PC LCD while using the screen for entertainment like movie and TV watching when work is done. Samsung has unveiled a couple new HD LCDs today called the 933HD+ and the 2333HD that allow you to work and play with one screen.

The 933HD+ is a 19-inch screen selling for $249.99 and the 2333HD is a 23-inch screen selling for $329.99. Both of the screens share common features including the ability to connect to cable boxes and HDMI inputs. The screens also both feature digital TV tuners and integrated stereo sound.

Specifications for the monitor include contrast ratios of 10,000:1, 5ms response times, and 16:9 aspect ratios. Both displays have glossy black cases for looks and will be perfect for small spaces needing a display that can perform several duties. The 933HD has a resolution of 1360 x 768 and the 2333HD resolution is 1920 x 1080.
