Samsung Mobile puts charge stations in colleges and universities

When I went to Las Vegas last year, I noticed on the return trip that Samsung had put one of its charge stations in the airport in Dallas. The things are pretty cool and are a free way for users to get power for their mobile electronics.Samsung Mobile has announced that it is now rolling the service out to colleges and universities around the country to let students and teachers stay charged up on the go. Samsung plans to install charge stations at 15 colleges including San Diego State University, The University of Colorado – Boulder, Texas Tech University, The University of Texas at Dallas, Northern Iowa University, The University of New Mexico, The University of Minnesota, Northwestern University, The University of Miami and Louisiana Tech.

Samsung plans to have more than 90 of the stations at 50 colleges around the country soon. The stations will have eight outlets each allowing the recharging of mobile devices at no charge.
