Samsung HMX-R10 HD camcorder to be released soon

We've already heard about the HMX-R10 HD camcorder from Samsung and were blown away by its tiny frame. However, we will soon be able to actually get our hands on this gadget starting as soon as next month.

The camcorder was released in Korea today and measures in at just 4.9" x 1.5". Specs include a 1,920 x 1,080 resolution from a 1/2.33-inch CMOS sensor. It also has a 9-megapixel sensor for still photos.

Other features include 5x optical zoom, a 2.7-inch touchscreen LCD with the proprietary Magic Touch UI from Samsung, and a microSDHC memory slot with support for cards up to 32GB. Slow-mo shooting is also possible at 60, 300 and 600 fps. You will be able to get the Samsung HMX-R10 HD camcorder in the U.S. starting on May 15th for about $499.99 on Amazon.
