Samsung Galaxy Tab S 10.5 shows up at FCC

The upcoming Samsung Galaxy Tab S 10.5 that surfaced last week has cropped up online again, this time on the FCC's website, where it has been unveiled through a handful of images. As previously hinted at, the design is akin to the Galaxy S5.

The new images show the same tablet seen in the images that surfaced last week featuring a white body and horizontal orientation. Perhaps one difference is the backing, which was pitted in last week's image but appears smooth in the FCC's single rear shot — that could be an issue with the lighting, however, which is fairly poor.

The tablet is model SM-T800, and according to the FCC it features the rumored 10.5-inch display, hence the expected name. Accompanying the WiFi-only T800 model will also be a T801 version with 3G and a T805 model with LTE connectivity.

The display is said to be an AMOLED offering with an unofficial resolution of 2560 x 1600. The innards are expected to be an octa-core Exynos 5420 processor, an 8-megapixel and a 2-megapixel camera, and Samsung's Magazine UX on top of Android KitKat.
