Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 8.0 destined for Verizon on June 26

Samsung's Galaxy Tab 4 8.0 tablet will be available from Verizon this coming Thursday, June 26. Users will be able to get the slate for different price points depending whether a plan is selected or it is bought outright. We've got all the details for you after the jump.

The Galaxy Tab 4 8.0 features an 8-inch display with a resolution of 1280 x 800, as well as a 1.2GHz quad-core processor, 1.5GB of RAM, and 16GB of internal storage (as well as a microSD card slot with support for up to 64GB). This is accompanied by a 4450mAh capacity battery.

There's a 3-megapixel rear camera and a 1.3-megapixel front-facing camera, as well as Multi Window, Verizon Messages (which syncs with a Verizon smartphone), WatchON, and Android KitKat 4.4. The Galaxy Tab 4 8.0 is also XLTE Ready.

The tablet will be made available from Verizon for $379.99 USD, though those who sign up for a two-year contract plan will be able to get it for $279.99. Those with a MORE Everything account can add the slate for a $10 access fee per month.
