All Galaxy S10 cases, covers leaked: Remember that screen issue?
A set of official Samsung Galaxy S10 accessories were leaked this morning with a few details not known before today. This set of images shows that the Samsung Galaxy S10 will indeed come in three sizes, will come in two different sorts (flat and curved-edge display) and will have a front-facing fingerprint sensor that is unaffected by a standard screen protector. But what's that, you say, it wasn't the standard screen protector you were worried about?
Correct – it wasn't a thin, basic set of screen protectors we were worried about in the first place. Instead, it's the tempered glass – the thick, bulky screen protectors that might not work as they normally would with this new device. This is because of the nature of the in-display fingerprint sensor.
Because of said sensor, the display must move – a barely noticeable by the human eye sort of distance, but move nonetheless. With a thick screen protector, the display cannot do what it needs to do. It needs to be able to move with the flex that the current condition allows. With a thick screen protector, too much adhesive and too much rigidity make the final product ineffective.
As such, you'll see no thick screen protectors for the Galaxy S10 here. You WILL see a set of protectors that offer "protection from external shock" – which doesn't say a whole lot. Of interest here too is the fact that the same holes in the display seem to be cut from the screen protectors. Almost like they expect them to be scratched, at some point.
The Samsung Galaxy S10 collection of official cases also shows a very strange "Emotional LED Lighting Effect" in the case called LED Cover. There's one for each of the different Galaxy S10 models. That means one for the Galaxy S10, Galaxy S10e, and Galaxy S10 Plus.
According to WinFuture Roland Quandt who also shared the cases, there'll be a white version of the LED case, and one for each model.

These accessories range from around $15 (for the screen protectors) to $50 (for the LED View Cover Cases). If you want to get emotional about your Galaxy S10, go for that LED! If you want to go basic, get a Silicone cover case – go Berry Pink!
