Samsung Fascinate heads to Verizon Wireless

Verizon Wireless has landed a new Android smartphone from Samsung called the Fascinate. The new device is the Galaxy S that has turned up with a few other names for various carriers. The Fascinate runs Android 2.1.

Other features include a mirror black case with chrome accents. The browser of the phone is capable of surfing full HTML websites. The device is preloaded with Bing Maps and Bing Search. The screen is the Super AMOLED that we already know all about.

The CPU is a Samsung 1GHz Cortex A8 Hummingbird application processor. The handset has a virtual QWERTY keyboard and a six-axis sensor that works with the accelerometer for fluid gaming control. Internal storage is 2GB and the handset ships with a 16GB microSD card.
