Rotel unveils RCX-1500 tuner with CD, FM, and internet radio

Rotel has unveiled a new and full featured receiver for music fans that supports multiple content types called the RCX-1500. The receiver has support for regular FM stations with an integrated FM/DAB tuner and it supports internet radio. For those with a large CD collection the receiver has an integrated CD slot as well.

The tuner has a 24-bit/192kHz DAC made by Wolfson and uses a Class D amp inside. A front USB port supports direct input of an iPod or other class 2 USB devices. The internet radio tuner allows the device to listen to free stations and connect to Pandora and SiriusXM.

Internet connectivity is possible with both wired and WiFi connections. The tuner has support for RealAudio, WMA, MP3, AAC, and AAC+ codecs. The tuner measures 17" x 5 5/8" x 15 ΒΌ" and weighs 18 pounds. The amp inside the receiver has 100W per channel continuous.
