Puget Systems unveils Serenity SPCR Edition PC promising to be very, very quiet

If good ol' Elmer were to need a PC to take with him on his next wabbit hunt, the Serenity SPCR Edition would be it. This machine is built to be one of the quietest machines available. According to Puget System, the machine was measured at 14dBA@1M when idle and 18dBA after an hour running at full system load.

That is very quiet, much quieter than the PC in my office that makes a constant hum you can hear from another room. The machine has a huge array of customization options with CPUs including Pentium, Core i3, i5, and i7 options. Up to 16GB of RAM can be fitted inside the rig.

Graphics options include GeForce GT210 and GT240 Quiet editions and dual or single Radeon HD 5750 cards from PowerColor in Quiet edition. Pricing for the PC starts at $1250.
