PSP Go relaunch rumor surfaces

When Sony made the PSP Go official many owners of previous generation PSP portable consoles were not happy. The Go's lack of a UMD drive meant all those PSP games in the library of gamers were no longer going to work.

Thanks to that fact, the sales of the Go haven't exactly been staggering and a new rumor has surfaced that claims Sony is set to relaunch the Go. The relaunch will supposedly have a "massive" marketing blitz for the console that only debuted in October 2009.

Along with the new marketing push, the console is also said to be getting a price cut. This isn't official yet, but if Sony learned on thing with its PS3, it's that a price cut will help sales. Now if Sony would only give gamers a way to use those UMDs we would be in business.
