PS3 gamers get exclusive playable Kratos character on Mortal Kombat

The Mortal Kombat franchise has been around for a very long time in the video game world and gamers of all ages have played the game and had fun killing foes with all sorts of fatalities. Warner Brothers Interactive has announced that it will be offering players of the coming Mortal Kombat title on the PS3 an exclusive playable character.

The exclusive PS3 character is Kratos from the God of War franchise. SCEA and Warner Bros. have announced that Kratos will have his own customized move set, fatality, and fighting arena. The game is set to hit stores in April 2011.

The characters that we remember for older games in the franchise like Scorpion and Sub Zero will be in the game and the title will be 3D on the PS3 as well. Kratos is only on the PS3, but the game will be on the Xbox too.
