PS Store flash sale brings big game discounts over the weekend

Sony has announced another PS Store flash sale, offering major discounts on PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4 games in both the US and UK. The sale will only be live over the weekend, giving players a couple days to enjoy up to 70-percent discounts on certain titles. The sale includes game bundles, hit titles, and older classics.

The sale will be available over the weekend, officially ending at 8AM PT on Monday, December 3. During this time, PlayStation console owners can pick up titles like Battlefield 1 for $4.99, Bioshock: The Collection for $14.99, and Plants vs. Zombies Garden Warfare for $5.99.

The sale includes first-person shooters, adventure titles, horror games, family-friendly and kids offerings, and more. Some games are extremely cheap, such as the card game Uno for $2.99, Tricky Towers for $4.49, The Order: 1886 for $5.99, and Star Wars Battlefront: Ultimate Edition for $5.99.

The biggest deals arguably come in the form of game bundles, of which there are several. PlayStation owners can get the Borderlands: The Handsome Collection for $14.99, Battlefield Anniversary Bundle for $29.99, Assassin's Creed: The Ezio Collection for $14.99, and Amnesia: Collection for $8.99.

Unlike some PS Store sales, this weekend's flash sale includes a decent number of notable titles for the PlayStation 3, all of them offered at steep discounts. There's the Bioshock games for $3.99 – $5.99, for example, Borderlands for $3.99, Devil May Cry HD Collection for $4.99, Grand Theft Auto IV: The Complete Edition for $8.99, multiple Resident Evil titles, and Street Fighter II for $2.99, among others.

Finally, the sale includes more than three dozen discounted games for the PS Vita and nearly a dozen titles for the PSP.
