Polaroid Kids Tablet 2 features 8 GB of storage and 7-inch display

Polaroid has unveiled its latest tablet aimed specifically at children and it's a refreshed version of the original Polaroid Kids Tablet. The new tablet is called the Polaroid Kids Tablet 2 and features a seven-inch screen. The tablet also has a number of applications preloaded just for kids.

The tablet comes with over 70 popular books and apps loaded and ready to play right out-of-the-box. The books and apps come from Disney, Marvel, and Cartoon Network. The tablet also comes with apps designed to help children express their creative side and features front and rear cameras.

The tablet also has a Kids Cam App that makes it easy for kids to take pictures and video and merge them with music and special effects using built-in filters. The tablet also features a DJ Studio application allowing kids to make their own music with the preloaded library of sounds and beats. The tablet is also designed to be durable with side and rear bumpers to protect it from drops.

The tablet also features a number of parental controls and safe web browser that are easy for kids to use and prevent them from accessing content that's not appropriate. The native resolution of the seven-inch display is 1024 x 600 and the tablet has 8 GB of internal storage. Storage expansion is possible using a SD card. The processor is a 1.6 GHz dual-core Cortex-A9 paired with 1 GB of RAM. The operating system is Android 4.2 and the tablet has integrated Wi-Fi. Pricing for the tablet is $149 and it will be available in Toys "R" Us stores and online.
