Point of View tablets arrive with Windows, quad-core processors

Point of View has rolled out some new Windows 8.1 tablets, all of them featuring quad-core processors. That aside, the tablets come with various specs and display sizes, targeting users of different varieties with different needs.

The Mobii WinTab 800W is the smallest of the bunch, offering an 8-inch display with 1280 x 800 pixels. With this slate comes the same Intel Atom Z3735 (Bay Trail) quad-core processor as the other slates, as well as 1GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage.

The 800W's connectivity includes Bluetooth 4.0 and 802.11n WiFi, as well as a micro HDMI and micro USB port, and a microSD card slot for expansion. There's dual 2-megapixel cameras and a 4500mAh battery. The 1000BW model is similar, but with it comes a larger 6000mAh battery and 10-inch display (with the same resolution as the smaller model).

Likewise, the highest end of the bunch, the 1000W tablet, features a 10-inch display and boost in storage at 32GB, as well as 2GB of RAM. In addition to running Windows 8.1, all three slates come with a year's subscription to Microsoft Office 365 Personal Edition.

Prices for the US models aren't yet known.
