PNY launched Quadro FX 5800 and Quadro FX 4800

Pro with industrial-grade graphic intensive designer apps take note, PNY Technologies has released two new highly scalable and performance graphics cards based on Nvidia 2nd-gen FX series unified architecture, offering 4GB and 1.5GB of DDR3 memory with the announcement of Quadro FX 5800 and Quadro FX 4800.

Featuring industry's first high-density GPU DDR3 memory, PNY Quadro FX 5800 deliver up to 102GB/sec of memory bandwidth and 240 CUDA programmable parallel cores, while the FX 4800 is capable of up to 76.8GB/sec of memory bandwidth and 192 CUDA programmable parallel cores.

Both support interactive 4D modeling with time lapse capabilities, 10-bit color enabling and NVIDIA SLI technology, NVIDIA PureVideo HD technology; bolstering 2560x1600 of ultra high resolution outputs via its dual DisplayPort for ultimate productivity.

These highly scalable GPU accelerated solutions are also available in Genlock/framelock and HD-SDI versions. The manufacturer did not disclose pricing and product availability, but we don't expect anything less than $3,250 (street price) on the FX 5800 at its initial launch.
