PlayStation Plus April 2017 games: 'Lovers in a Dangerous Spacetime' and more

It's that time of the month: Sony has detailed the upcoming free games that will be made available to PlayStation Plus subscribers in the month of April. The games, as we've come to expect, span the three big Sony consoles: the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, and the PS Vita. A total of six games will be released this time around, including two for the PS4 and the notable fan-favorite title 'Lovers in a Dangerous Spacetime.'

Overall, this month's lineup isn't bad. The fun and brightly colored co-op game 'Lovers in a Dangerous Spacetime' will be offered to PlayStation 4 owners for free, giving them a chance to battle it out with monsters in a chaotic, bright, colorful galaxy. Gamers will get to control a neon battleship, among other things.

If trippy space battles aren't your thing, Sony is also giving PS4 owners 'Drawn to Death,' a game described as a 'third-person shooter/brawler' that brings unconventional gameplay into the mix. What makes it unconventional? The entire game takes place within the pages of a student's notebook, and is styled to look like doodles. Check out the video above to see a bit of that gameplay in action.

In addition to those two games, Sony is offering PS Plus subscribers with a PlayStation 3 the following games: "Invizimals: The Lost Kingdom" and "Alien Rage – Extended Edition." Those with a PS Vita will be able to get "10 Second Ninja" and "Curses 'n Chaos." Of course, you need a PS Plus subscription to download these games (for free, that is).
