Pioneer DJE-2000 and DJE-1500 in-ear headphones aim at the DJ crowd

Normally when we are talking about a new set of headphones aimed at the DJ crowd, we are looking at headphones that have big over the ear cups. Pioneer has announced two sets of new headphones that are aimed at DJs that use an in-ear design for those that prefer something less bulky. The new headphones include the DJE-2000 and the DJE-1500.

Both sets of headphones use large 9.4mm drivers. The DJE-2000 uses a hybrid 2-way driver that promises clear and precise audio through the entire frequency spectrum. The headphones also promise deep and low bass from the back driver inside the headphones while the front driver provides mid and high frequencies.

The headphones come with multiple tips in different sizes made from Comply foam. The DJE-2000 also has a detachable cable. The DJE-1500 headphones have a 9.4mm driver and use a CCAW voice coil. The diaphragm of the speaker is made from a ceramic powder to reduce internal vibration.

The housing is adjustable to get the most comfort possible and the DJE-1500 ships with three sizes of Comply foam ear tips. These headphones also have a detachable cable. Both sets of headphones will ship in April with the DJE-2000 selling for $359 and the DJE-1500 selling for $189.
