OnePlus 7T will be the first to ship Android 10 out of the box

In a little over 24 hours, OnePlus will try to show the smartphone market again how to do Android flagships. At least as far as mixing high-end features and accessible prices go. While the OnePlus 7T and 7T Pro may not be big jumps over their earlier 2019 counterparts, they do give Android users another option from expensive products, especially smartphones that don't regularly update their phones' software. As if to really emphasize that point, OnePlus is now proud to reveal that its phone will launch with the latest Android version right off the bat.

Android 10 is barely a month old but OEMs have had early dibs on the latest version before everyone else. In other words, they don't really have much excuse not to roll out the update as soon as possible or launch new phones that don't have Android 10 installed already. Unless, of course, that OEM is Huawei.

Since Android 10 launched, there have been a few new Android phones announced, all of them running Android 9 Pie. Only HMD Global's Nokia phones come with the promise of updating that to Android 10 ASAP. OnePlus, however, is now saying you won't even have to wait if you buy the new OnePlus 7T.

Not one to shy away from dropping not-so-subtle teasers, OnePlus is proud to announce the expected. The OnePlus 7T and 7T Pro will launch with Android 10 out of the box. Given the company just rolled out Android 10 to the OnePlus 7, it would definitely be embarrassing if the OnePlus 7T launched with anything less.

The OnePlus 7T might be seen as a small incremental upgrade, depending on whether you're comparing it with the OnePlus 7 or OnePlus 7 Pro. The Qualcomm Snapdragon 855+ will be one of the highlights but the triple camera system will also take center stage for those who have been living in a dual camera world for a few generations now.
