NZXT unveils Tempest Evo computer chassis

The last time we heard from NZXT the company was unveiling its budget computer case called the GAMMA back in August. Today NZXT is back and it is showing off a new chassis called the Tempest Evo. The case is a mid-tower design that fits into the NZXT Crafted Series.

The case is designed with E-ATX support so it will work with larger server motherboards and large video cards like the new ATI HD 5970. The case is made from steel and measures 211.5 x 521.5 x 562mm (WxHxD) and weighs 11.2kg with no PSU. NZXT ships the case with a full cooling system installed including dual 120mm front fans, single 120mm rear fan, single 120mm side panel fan, and dual 140mm top panel fans.

The case has seven expansion slots and has enough space to hold eight HDDs. A single 3.5" adapter bracket is included and three of the 5.25" bays are external. The chassis can also be ordered with a 500W PSU installed. The chassis is also cheap with a MSRP of $99.
