Nokia N97 mini gets Apple "antennagate" testing

Nokia may rue the day they jumped on the Antennagate bandwagon and pointed out that they'd always prioritize signal performance over aesthetics.  The company's N97 mini has joined the BlackBerry Bold 9700, Samsung Omnia II, HTC Droid Eris and iPhone 3GS on Apple's antenna testing page of shame.

In the same attenuation tests, the N97 mini dropped from seven bars down to two when Apple's testers gripped it around its antenna.  That's on AT&T's network, though it's not clear what the end result of those dropped bars actually is; as we've seen in other testing, just because you only have a few bars, it doesn't necessarily mean you'll not be able to make a call.
