Nokia Lumia 930 brings Verizon's "Icon" international

With the Nokia Lumia 930, the company is bringing the device otherwise known as the Lumia Icon to the international market. Here the device won't just be headed for Verizon, instead moving outward. Onstage at BUILD 2014, Stephen Elop made clear that the Icon would "continue to be [their] focus in the USA."

This device works with a 5-inch display with 1080p (full HD) sharpness and Windows Phone 8.1 aboard. On the back you'll have a 20-megapixel PureView camera with Zeiss lens, and this device also works with Nokia's own Creative Studio for images.

Nokia's Storyteller application will also be enhanced by this device's ability to capture Living Images, while your entire photo and video collection will be sorted automatically. Both by time and by location, this device's gallery is an instant archive for photos and movies.

Inside the Nokia Lumia 930, users will benefit from a 2.2GHz quad-core Snapdragon 800 processor as well as the full collection of Windows Phone 8.1 features. This includes Cortana, a natural language personal assistant which replaces the search function in Windows Phone entirely.

The Nokia Lumia 930 will be carried by "more than 100 operators" and will be sent up off-contract for $599 USD. This device won't likely hit the United States soon, but never say never!
